Didrex
is an appetite suppressant used along with diet, exercise,
and behavior therapy for the short-term management of obesity.
How
to take Didrex
Take on an empty stomach, once daily, 30-60 minutes before
breakfast. Do not increase your dose or take it more often
than prescribed because this drug can be habit forming.
Also, if used for a longer period of time, do not suddenly
stop this medication without first consulting your doctor.
This medication is usually taken for 8 to 12 weeks.
Didrex Side Effects
Possible side effects include restlessness, nervousness,
difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth. If they continue or are
bothersome, consult your doctor.
Precautions
You must not exceed the recommended dose or take this medicine
for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor.
Exceeding the recommended dose or taking this medicine for
longer than prescribed may cause serious side effects. Do
not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until
you know how you react to Didrex. Before any medical or
dental treatments, emergency care, or surgery, tell the
doctor or dentist that you are using Didrex. Do not take
Didrex if you are pregnant. Didrex is excreted in breast
milk. Do not breast feed while taking Didrex.
Drug Interactions
Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects or

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose. Instead,
skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
